How To Use Golden Nuggets
Whether you’re feeding houseplants, enriching compost, brewing fertiliser tea or improving garden beds, Golden Nuggets provide a simple, natural way to nourish plants and support healthy growth. 🌱
Houseplants
Rabbit manure pellets are gentle enough to use directly in pots and containers.
How much to use:
• Small pots (up to 10cm): 1 tsp (5g)
• Medium pots (12–20cm): 1 tbsp (10–15g)
• Large pots (25cm+): 2–4 tbsp (30–60g)
Simply remove the top layer of soil, add pellets, cover lightly with soil and water thoroughly.
500g treats approximately:
• 100 small pots
• 33–50 medium pots
• 8–16 large pots
Fertiliser Tea
Create a nutrient-rich liquid feed for houseplants, vegetables and garden beds.
Recipe:
• 500g Golden Nuggets
• 10 litres water
• Brew for 24–48 hours
Stir occasionally before using.
10 litres of tea provides approximately:
• 100 small plants (100ml each)
• 40 medium plants (250ml each)
• 20 large plants (500ml each)
Use fresh for best results.
Garden Beds
Feed flowers, vegetables and established plants naturally.
Application rate:
• Light feed: 25g per m²
• Standard feed: 50g per m²
• Heavy feed: 100g per m²
Loosen the top layer of soil, scatter pellets evenly, lightly work into the surface and water thoroughly.
500g covers approximately:
• 20m² light feeding
• 10m² standard feeding
• 5m² heavy feeding
Reapply every 4–8 weeks during active growth.
Compost Booster
Add Golden Nuggets to compost heaps to increase nutrient content and support beneficial microbial activity.
Mixing ratio:
• 1 part Golden Nuggets
• 10 parts compost material
Example:
• 500g Golden Nuggets
• 5kg compost ingredients
Mix thoroughly with greens, browns and other compost materials.
500g enriches approximately:
• 5kg of compost ingredients
Helps create richer compost for future planting and soil improvement.
