Your bespoke journey begins with a consultation where we’ll discuss your ideas, inspiration, preferred gemstones, precious metals and budget. Whether you’d like to personalise an existing BVLA design or create something entirely unique, we’ll work with BVLA to bring your vision to life. Once your design is confirmed, your ring is handcrafted in Los Angeles before being carefully inspected and prepared for collection or secure delivery.
A bespoke consultation is required, but it can take place either in the studio or remotely. We will arrange dedicated time to discuss your ideas, preferred gemstones, precious metals and budget before developing your commission with BVLA.
Absolutely. Many clients commission BVLA to create one-of-a-kind engagement rings, wedding jewellery and meaningful milestone pieces. Whether you have a clear vision or are just beginning to gather inspiration, we’ll help design a ring that’s uniquely yours.
BVLA offers more than 150 natural and laboratory-created gemstones, including diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, opals, tourmalines, garnets, alexandrites and many more. We’ll help you choose gemstones that suit both your design and your budget.
BVLA creates jewellery in a selection of premium precious metals, including 14k and 18k yellow, white and rose gold, as well as platinum and rhodium on selected designs. We’ll help you choose the metal that best complements your design and personal style.
Yes. If you’ve fallen in love with an existing BVLA design, we can often customise it by changing the gemstones, precious metal, finish or other design details. If you’re looking for something completely original, BVLA can also create an entirely bespoke design from the ground up.
Every bespoke BVLA ring is individually priced based on the design, precious metal, gemstones and level of customisation you choose. Following your consultation, we’ll provide a personalised quotation before any work begins, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
As each ring is handcrafted to order in Los Angeles, bespoke BVLA rings typically take 8–12 weeks to complete. More intricate commissions may occasionally take a little longer depending on the complexity of the design and gemstone availability.
Yes. Once your design has been finalised and your quotation approved, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required before your order is submitted to BVLA and production begins. As every piece is handcrafted specifically for you, custom orders cannot be cancelled or changed once production has started. The remaining balance is due before your jewellery is collected or dispatched.
Yes. We can discuss your ideas remotely and guide you through the custom ordering process. Once your design has been finalised and approved, we’ll arrange your order and provide updates throughout production until your jewellery is ready for collection or delivery.
