Oral piercing
Mouthwash - non alcoholic mouthwash twice a day along with brushing and flossing teeth. Keeping good oral hygiene practices is important in maintaining a healthy mouth and piercing.
Gently brush - the jewellery with a clean toothbrush regularly to avoid plaque build up.
Rinse - with water (bottled or filtered) thoroughly after every time you eat, drink or smoke.
Food - soft foods that will not be too difficult to chew
Swelling - cold foods & beverages can be soothing, dissolve small ice pieces in your mouth, over the counter anti inflammatory.
Downsize Jewellery - swelling is expected for the beginning of your piercing. How long can vary but will usually last a few days. Once the swelling has completely gone it is important to book in for an install to downsize the bar. This is extremely important to avoid chipping teeth and breaking down if the enamel.
AVOID during healing

- Playing with jewellery & unnecessary touching
- Oral Sex
